About the Attorneys

Julia C. McBride

Julia C. McBride is a business, trust and estate litigation attorney based in the Los Angeles/Southern California area with extensive experience handling business formation and financial fraud litigation, simple to complex trust and estate conflict resolution and litigation, conservatorships, guardianships, post-death estate administration, and estate and business planning.

She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, option in Accounting Theory & Practice, summa cum laude, from California State University at Northridge in 1992. She passed the Uniform CPA Exam in 1993. Ms. McBride then obtained her law degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 1996, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1996.

Ms. McBride opened her solo law practice in 2007. During the eleven years prior to that, she worked as an associate for several tax, trust, and estate attorneys, gaining in-depth experience in various aspects of the field of estate & trust law.

She became certified as a Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in 2008. Fewer than one half of one percent of all California attorneys have achieved this distinction.

Cecil R. McNab

Cecil R. McNab, of counsel to the firm, is a senior lawyer with extensive experience in litigation, real estate, trust and estate, and probate, including estate administration, conservatorships and guardianships. He participates in the Los Angeles Probate Court's volunteer panel, providing free or reduced fee legal representation to those with no or little resources. He is admitted to the bars of New York, District of Columbia and California. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Southern California.
